Built from experience.
Focused on safer environments for children.
Nidora is a dedicated childcare security brand built from more than 35 years of experience in security, electronics and systems integration.
Our journey began long before Nidora had a name — through real work across commercial sites, preschools, schools, high schools and childcare environments.
Our Story
From security experience to a dedicated childcare focus.
Through Amaro Electronics Pty Ltd, our work has taken us across a wide range of security and educational environments.
Over the years we designed, installed, repaired and integrated access control, CCTV, alarms, intercoms, networking, controlled doors and other security systems.
As more of our work moved into education, we gained a much closer understanding of how these environments really operate.
And one area increasingly stood out: childcare and early learning.
We saw that childcare needed a different security approach.
Beautiful learning environments do not automatically mean the infrastructure behind them has been designed with the same level of care.
We Look Beyond the Device
A keypad, camera or intercom is only one part of the environment. Doors, power, cabling, networking, gates and daily operations all affect how reliably a security system performs.
We Understand the Environment
Childcare involves young children, educators, parents, visitors, drop-off and pick-up activity, gates, controlled exits and constantly changing movement throughout the day.
We Raise What We Find
If we identify something that may affect reliability, safety or operation, we believe it should be communicated clearly rather than ignored simply because it falls outside one individual device.
Quality was how we earned the work.
During our earlier years, Amaro Electronics worked as one of a number of specialist contractors supporting larger service organisations across New South Wales.
Over time, we were trusted with more responsibility because our clients could see exactly what we were doing.
We documented installations. We photographed what we found. We communicated openly when an existing system was not what the client expected, and when we specified a standard of workmanship, that was the standard we delivered.
“Not because we were the biggest contractor. Because we were trusted to do what we said we would do.”
That principle remains part of Nidora today.
Fix it properly. Do it once.
Our aim has never been to create installations that require repeated return visits because something was rushed, poorly planned or left unfinished.
We want to arrive, understand the problem, complete the work properly and leave the client with a system they can rely on.
That approach became especially important when our work moved further into schools, preschools and childcare environments.
Experience across education. Specialised for childcare.
Our education experience did not begin with Nidora.
Security and access environments involving staff, parents, controlled entry and daily movement.
Access control, communications, networking and security infrastructure across education sites.
Experience across larger education environments requiring controlled access and reliable technical infrastructure.
Where our broader education experience evolved into a dedicated approach around younger children, families, educators, visitors, entrances, gates and controlled exits.
The principles behind every Nidora project.
Transparency
Clear communication about what we find, what we recommend and what we install.
Quality
Workmanship and system design intended to remain reliable long after installation day.
Practicality
Technology selected around how the centre actually operates, not around unnecessary complexity.
Accountability
We stand behind the work we deliver and the standards we set for each project.
Nidora is backed by Amaro Electronics Pty Ltd.
Nidora brings a dedicated childcare focus to decades of practical experience in security, electronics and systems integration.
Sydney-based. Built for broader Australian project coordination.
Nidora is based in Sydney and directly supports childcare security projects across New South Wales, with a service model designed to support broader Australian project coordination where suitable.
Selected interstate projects can be assessed and coordinated through trusted security professionals and industry partners, subject to project location, requirements and local partner availability, while Nidora maintains consistent project planning and solution standards.
Technology is what we use.
Safer environments are why we use it.
Our purpose is simple: use our experience and technology to help childcare centres create safer, better controlled and better understood environments for children, educators and families.
Let’s understand how your centre operates.
Tell us about your centre, your existing security system and the problem you need to solve. The first stage can begin remotely, allowing Nidora to assess the project and determine the most practical next step before any site visit is arranged.
